Check list for Calculations

Following items taken into account

1. Has data from the design basis been utilized in the calculations ?
2. Are applicable references identified and supplied?
3. Are relevant input data and assumptions clearly listed?
4. Are the applicable regulations, codes, standards and specifications utilized listed within the calculation data & clearly stated in the report?
5. Do the calculations comply with applicable regulations?
6. Are deviations from # 5 above identified & justified?
7. Has the calculation philosophy been compared with earlier projects, where applicable?
8. Is the calculation methodology sound?
9. Are all calculation sheets attached, numbered and signed?
10. Do summary tables in the text reflect information from the calculations?
11. Are applicable sketches, pictures, & drawings attached?
12. Are the calculations complete and arithmetically correct?
13. Has an estimate been done to verify the results, and do they seem reasonable?
14. Was the software used verified & approved per Client requirements?
15. Have the spreadsheet formulas been verified by a checker other than the originator?
16. Verify that analytical calculations are contained in a calculation book per company procedures.
17. Verify AFD design changes have been logged in the Change Register.
18.Verify AFD hazard review and change HAZID have been completed.
