Check list for General Arrangement Drawings

DRAWING CHECK

Are the following aspect correct:

-Title
-Drawing and sheet number
-Drawing format
-North arrow
-Revision number and reason for issue
-Scale
-Presence of all required signatures
-Key Plan
-Reference drawings ( Plot Plans, GA’s, etc…)
-Matchline shown with continuation drawing numbers
-Steel grid reference
-Equipment shown to the correct size and location
-Pipe Support Identification
-Equipment Nozzle schedule and nozzle data
-Piping 2” and larger shown with line number and flow arrows
-Location and identification of instruments
-Dimensions
-Fire walls and cladding
-Primary Steelwork
-Bulkheads
-Escape route and main access ways
-Adequate location of nozzles on vessels for maintenance, access of piping and instruments in line with the Process and Vessel Sketches
-Adequate accessibility of operation and maintenance and that manholes, hatches, covers, drop-out, laydown and handling areas etc. have been provided
-Adequate clearance between piping and steelwork, doors, windows, HVAC ducts, equipment, cable trays, control consoles and fire fighting equipment
-Stress isometrics have been drawn for all critical lines and comments (if any) from stress engineer have been incorporated
-Sections correctly cross-referenced to plans
-Special piping items are correctly labelled
-Hook-up spools are correctly indicated and limits dimensioned
-The following items are cross referenced with the piping standard drawings: Process vents and drains, instrument connections, utility hose stations, sample points
-Compatibility with latest issue of other discipline drawings i.e. Structure, electrical, Instrumentation, etc….
-IDC comments investigated and incorporated when agreed
-COMPANY comments investigated and included where agreed
-Comments from “Master” drawing included
-Completion of  “Hold” list
