The terms ‘bent’ and ’spandrel’ should have been explained. It should be mentioned that no pipe should be laid on pipe rack columns in order to keep provision for future expansion of pipe rack, by addition of upper tier.
Also, max. permissible lateral movement of pipes (due to thermal and wind effects) should have been mentioned.
